Physical Therapist Assistant

PWR!Moves Therapist

Mitch Leffler is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, in the state of Ohio and Michigan working as a PTA at Balance and Mobility Therapy and Carter Rehabilitation & Aquatic Centers in Adrian and Tecumseh, Michigan which is also owned by APRN. I have been involved in the field since 2008 as a Physical Therapist Aide, and new graduate from the PTA program last year at Professional Skills Institute. Currently pursuing BAS and Health Care Management Minor at Siena Heights University, Adrian, MI, with an end goal to attend the University of Findlay, OH, Doctorate Physical Therapy program.

I was inspired to pursue Physical Therapy as my career due to the fact that my grandpa, great uncle, father, and both aunts serve and have served as PT’s and PTA’s. It’s big shoes to fill however, I did not pursue this career specifically for those reasons, I have come to love PT and is so rewarding to watch patients recover and improve upon their own personal goals. Medicine no matter what the field should be about the patient, give them your attention and great quality care. In my opinion, this is paramount and some of my personal pet peeves with medicine and life in general. I love working with balance patients, neurological pathologies, and orthopedics as well, but will treat whoever walks through the door, we are here for you!

When I’m not in the clinic I serve as a paid on-call Firefighter/B-EMT at Cambridge Township FD, MI, and serve in the United States Marine Corps currently as a reservist air conditioning field technician. What brings me the most joy is having a positive impact on people’s lives, that is my true calling, God bless you.
